But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Like the new notifications to tell you what you need to get promoted. Shame it reminded me I was ill and didn't run the flat fast 5k race yesterday.

Slight issue with the promo and relegation code... so I've reverted everyone to pre-noon divisions, and will run it again as soon as I've worked out what's gone wrong.

In a way I'm looking forward to demotion in June when last year's marathon (and the half and 10 mile times) drop off my score. Then perhaps I can get back to improving and maybe promotion.

Yes something happened i think, now i'm in the lead in my division, but earlier today i was 4th?
I have not restarted either though.

Well, I was in the relegation zone for Div 15 (not unusual), then I was just above it - and now I'm up to 6th!! All without resetting or improving any of my times!

There were a few bugs to sort out, but it's definitely possible to climb places at noon on Monday. The top 3 will get promoted, and if the 3 coming down are worse than you (or absent), then you benefit :-)

I think it's all settled now.

Start in the bottom division, and compete over seven different distances against your rivals for weekly promotion!

How It Works
1) The game takes your best times from training and racing over the last 12 months.

2) If you've got the fastest 5k in your division, you get 20 points. If you're second fastest, you get 19 points, etc.

3) Your FIVE best scores are used to calculate your total. So if your scores at each distance are 20,20,20,20,20,10,5 the lowest two are discarded, and your total points would be 100.

4) Promotion and relegation happen every Monday at midday.
