Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

LOL GAG

I had hoped to return to running a little more but crack ribs and a twisted ankle have impacted that goal

On the bike I am training for the Gralloch gravel race in May so big hours on the bike are standard although it will surprise people to know I don't ride EVERY day ( THIS IS THE PRIMARY GOAL UNTIL MAY 17th)

3rd goal is my karate black belt I am now 2 gradings away from it so if all to plan I will have a chance of getting it next year but I need motivation to step the training up and that means no injuries.

March: NordRunner - 500 - 102 - 36 - a lean winter so far, but spring has arrived and I have run in a t-shirt once!

thanks all, I was very speedy yesterday - thinking it was later in the month than it was. Now I'm back at work I might know what day of the week/month it is. Well done again to you all and here's to nice spring like days with a spring in our steps.

March: Autumnleaves 600 - 153 - 48. Slightly low month but still a bit ahead of target. (and now the weather improves hopefully our training time does too)

March: EarlyRiser - 250 - 70 - 24. Bumped target to 250. Running hours a little on the light side this month but still enough overall. (its a tough month but onwards to brighter days)

March: Evil Pixie - 400 - 117 - 42 best month of the year and now training for my first proper ultra 😮 (go go Pixie.... you have go this!)

March: geordiegirl - 500 - 79 - 22. I have managed to walk much more than I thought would be possible, been rubbish at the strength training I was going to focus on. Training is exactly half of March 2024 which I will take all things considered.

March: GimmeMedals - 400 - 49 - 21 Nearly twice as much TT as last month. I’m still building up again but getting there. (excellent and enjoy your Scottish travels)

March: HappyG - 365 - 59 - 23. Better than Feb, but still not good enough! :-) G (define good enough... and better than zero)

March: NordRunner - 500 - 102 - 36 - a lean winter so far, but spring has arrived and I have run in a t-shirt once! (loving the onset of spring here too)

March: PeterFay -600 - 149 - 47. On target (you are really running well Peter, well done)

March - riggys99 - 600 - 114 - 49. Injured hamstring recovered during month so more running. More dog walking before bed after nights - now take my breakfast with me. (sounds very positive all round and I bet the dog enjoys an extra walk too)

March: Sweetie - 365 - 63 - 23. Work really got in the way the second half of March and calf still dodgy so minimal running. April will be better. (work is pants, hope the calf settles soon)

March: tipsku 700 - 182 - 61. I'm 9:30 hours ahead of schedule. (excellent work tipsku)

March: TheScribbler - 250 - 69 - 26 Really encouraging to look at at this as I thought I wasn't progressing. (and why tracking is good, well done Scribbs)

March: Welshpoppy - 350 -104-32 - Achilles has flared up so hampering progress. (darn achillies, hope it settles soon)

March: westmoors - 365 - 92 - 30 Keeping the head above water! (good to see westmoors)

March update from Gobi: I know I stopped actively tracking and hours have just become a byproduct but amused to report 299hrs through to end of March (1hr bike from last night needs to be uploaded later ) (good to have you pop by Gobi, you have an incredible number already! #gobimachine - are you training for anything specific)

About the thread:

A shout out if anyone else wants to set themselves a goal in terms of time training (hours).

Remember, whatever you want to count as training... counts as training. If it's walking the dog, cycling to work, mindfulness and meditation, knitting, whatever you want to track, you track the hours!!

For anyone who wants to join us - it's easy, just estimate how many hours a year of training you want to do, and each month we see if we're on target.

2024 is a GO! :-) G

Here we track time spent doing anything you want to track as training. Ideal for non-runners, cross trainers, walkers, the injured etc!

Inspired by Sigh's blog (even though he's not playing any more!) fetcheveryone.com/blog/83896/2019/7#blog395919

Time has now been added to most logs, summaries and graphs, so thanks Fetch! :-) G
