It was not loaded with weights, so it hit the top of one foot hard and split the skin. There was a lot of blood. I was not inclined to take a photo. My first aider ran to my aid, gave me a damp bit of kitchen roll then fussed over all the blood on the lounge carpet. 🙄

It was early in the run and a tree root jumped out and tripped me. Luckily I cushioned my fall with my arms and all I have to show for it is a slight scratch on my knee. I'll take that!

Manage to snag my laces on the opposite hiking boot, momentum increased by going slightly downhill with dog. Hit the deck like a dead tree. Grazed knee and elbow, sore but ungrazed hip. My right shoulder took the full force of it and it very, very sore indeed. I do not think it's broken or dislocated (fingers all working, no obvious swelling) but everything has been wrenched in the wrong direction for sure. Feeling extra bad as we were on holiday in the van, but had to come home 😕
