The storm had petered out, the sun was shining, it was cold but fine once I got running, and the ground was hard in some places and boggy(ish) in others. I enjoyed it being 7.2 miles rather than the usual just under 6. Definitely a step up in quality compared to the local league. I was only a mere 262 places and 13 mins behind the winner...
