Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Abingdon in October!

Buy the 4% now (I love the blue colour!😎) or wait for the 5%’s?

Or for the cheapskates amongst us, wait for the 5% to come out to buy the 4% cheaper.

I'd be very surprised if the new shoes were significantly better.

There's an interview with one of the guys from Nike development team about the Nike Vaporfly on the Bad Boy Running Podcast - worth a listen.

I was thinking what puzzler said, wait for the 5%'s to come out then buy the 4%'s?

I'm sure the price would drop by about £30?
I spoke to someone who had about 5 pairs (1:13 Half Marathon runner!) and he said you can race in them straight out the box, they are that comfortable!
He also said they make you run fast and its not a gimmick!
Do you lucky people who have raced in them agree?

yes to both

I do remember them feeling very weird the 1st time I put them on so I wouldn't recommend the 1st time to wear them to be in a race. You certainly don't need to break them in though and I've raced in new pairs straight out of the box since.

Do 5% mean a new shoe that will possibly come out before the next sub 2 attempt or the NEXT%?
