Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Here's Squeak next to my tallest sunflower. She's 83cm. I have some way to go to even get them taller than the family midget!!

Great, was she weeing on the sunflower too? :)
Mine have started sprouting flowers, I suspect height is not going to happen. Too dry down the allotment this summer even with me watering them regularly.

I got a shock last night when I went out to water my sunflowers and found the ones in papier mache pots drooping like dishrags. Gave them a blast with the hosepipe and they're back to normal this morning. I'm not quite sure that they're ready to go out in the flowerbed and do battle with the slugs yet.
