And yet, it is a Schrodinger castle: still ahead of me and also behind (I've got the distance badge, so I think the icon is slightly misplaced). I'm glad to see though, that Ludlow celebrates diversity. Very much on trend:

Oh well, the shop will be handy for breakfast. In the real world I visited our most complete local castle, Rait Castle. It was home to the Comyn family, supporters of Edward I against William Wallace and Robert Bruce, and he is likely to have stayed here in 1303 while giving the northern Scots some 'hammer'. He was of course famous for building Welsh castles... but none we are visiting sadly.
