Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I probably don't run enough intervals which is why my 5K/10K times aren't in line!

CW - I don't think that'd be the reason. Wouldn't the lack of intervals harm your mile time even more than 5/10k?

My 5K attempt is called off tonight, feel like crap after a bad sleep. Might have a shot at a parkrun tomorrow again though, but it won't be a fast course.

CW your mile, 5k and 10k times are in line according to your WAVA scores or have I misunderstood?

Are does WAVA paint a different picture to the race predictors?

19:11 for me at Beeston which is my fastest parkrun in ~150 attempts so very chuffed. A pretty quick course although a bit exposed and it was windy with a 180' switchback with 800m to go that buggers up your rhythm.

Splits of 6:06, 6:07 and 6:11 (5:37 pace for the extras) so don't think I could have gone any quicker. Leaves sub-19 as a tough but just about doable target for the summer

Cracking effort Uyuni :)

The girl I planned on running with at the 5k last hammered in 18:00, now I doubt I could have done that but given she's a 3000 runner who couldn't beat me over a mile on Tuesday (infact, she was 11 seconds behind me...) it's left me wondering what if...
