Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Haven't done the crumble yet. I tried something with the overnight oats I had in the fridge, which has turned out.... interesting. In a good way. The oats had been soaking in apple juice for a couple of days so had become quite chewy. I mixed the apple in with it, and baked it for 20 minutes. It's a bit like a cakey flapjack!

Thanks DT! Plenty of gravy - could have used a bit more, but it worked out OK! :)

I'm not a big stew fan, but that looks ok Vixx. Plenty of mash.

Yes, there was plenty. There was enough for a small portion that I would have had with some Scotch Broth for lunch. However, I fell asleep last night on the sofa, forgot to put extra mash in fridge and instead put the saucepan straight in the dishwasher this morning without looking in it. I remembered as the dishwasher was nearly finished.

So now I am trying to unclog the dishwasher. I also have a car that was repaired Tue that has broken down again and I bought an item online that arrived broken.

2025 so far stinks. Nice food is all I can try to cook!

Cannot fault that. Presume the batter is made with ground breakfast cereal? ;-)
