Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I've asked Sefton council for a quote for either a bench or a bench plaque overlooking Crosby Beach. I don't know if they have such benches, but I thought I'd get the info.

What a great tribute that would be

I’ve been for a walk round Haworth with the vizsla at lunchtime and will blog with pictures later. Anyone who’s been in the village and done the Yorkshireman half or full marathon will recognise the scenes

I love the idea of a Fetch bench in memory of Switts.

I also have to step away, with LG, as I am crying too much and need to deal with this off Fetch xx

The bench or other memorial is a lovely idea and I'm happy to contribute.

I also tried to increase my Fetch monthly supporter contribution last night, but my bank site was down. Going to try again when I get home later. How everyone's rallied around every aspect of this sad situation has reminded me how important Fetcheveryone is. A massive thanks to Fetch (Ian) and Fetchies for being there.

Derby Tup. Norther and XB and I will be at Yorkshireman so we should do something in his honour. Perhaps the last mile is for Swittle?

I did the same ITG, the photo in my blog yesterday is the last one of mine he commented on.

About This Thread

Maintained by LipGloss
Never met him in person but always came across as a lovely man.

If you read about his nightly beach runs you could almost have been running along beside him.

He always encouraged others especially on the How was your run thread.

Hope all your beach run are still as perfect as they were while you were here xx
