Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Ness.

I went AWOL this week. A gentle 2.6 mile saunter on Wednesday - that doesn't fit any of the PJ sessions - and a tragic attempt at threshold that I converted to this week's long run today. I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow so it might be another long run, longer than today's.

I think, if I were you the choice of run would depend on how the legs feel. If niggle free in the morning maybe the intervals. Otherwise maybe a steady long run. Hope you enjoy whichever you choose.

Good luck with your last week Lin.

Come on GM, I hope you get on OK tomorrow.

MrT and Ness my cool down is always faster than the warm up, intervals or tempo. It's most likely to be because your legs have got used to turning over quickly.

Good luck for the second half of PJ Ness.

Depending on when i get up tomorrow i may see what my current 5k time is to start Joker. Got a minor hindrance of Covid Jab 1 at 11:20 and a more than a hours drive to get there. It's also gonna be pissing down when i get back supposedly.

Otherwise i'll aim for Thursday after work

I always find my cool down mile is always faster then warm up mile.I work to HR and find it take me a while to bring HR down.

Good luck Lin

Set benchmark time if 26:19 this morning so will see how things go. Todays speed check counts as my interval session ;) Off for my first jab shortly so no more running until Thursday which prob be my Tempo one.

That’s an impressive benchmark, kstuart.

In my tempo session this morning, I managed to average 9:35 minute miles so that’s a lot faster than I had originally thought I could do. Very pleased with that. 😁
