Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Some of these are hilarious, but who the devil is voting against the ban on mosquitos?!

What have mosquitos ever done for us?

Yeah, I voted against banning them, and the little swines bloody love the taste of me :-( But I figure that they must be in the food chain for something, so, unintended consequences, etc etc :-)

E.g. Scotland is lovely, but it would be absolutely over-run with tourists if it wasn't for bitey insects keeping them away.

A Rae in a manger
I'm at my work Christmas party this afternoon/evening, and this question is a brilliant conversation starter 😀

So far one colleague had suggested banking 'all commercials' which he would find with... Using anyone who works on marketing for slave labour.

I've suggested he would the works of Bill Hicks.

Another suggested banning nuclear weapons, which honestly is perfect, no notes.

I submitted it with addition of biological.
Just don't ask too many questions about how we enforce it...
