Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It's terrible that other park users have to put up with park run for 1.5 of 168 hours a week isn't it?

Some these park users are also car users who complain that a road is shut for 3 out of 8760 hours for a local half marathon.

We used to get real nasty abuse when marshalling at our once a year charity 10k for the local hospice.
I used to think one day they could need its services.

FYI, I am now watching this thread, following a few messages about the conduct of one of its contributors.

I can’t decide if I will do parkrun or just a long run. Nearest parkrun that’s on would require 14 miles total to get there and back. Wondering if I just do a similar distance without the pressure of having to get up and out the door at a set time. If I do it will be portobello

If I wake up I will do either Bedfont Lakes or Harrow.

You could cycle there then run maybe? I'm RD tomorrow so I have to be up. Hopefully I shall get to bed before 1!

Bike is unroadworthy sadly so that option doesn’t exist.

I of course have an extra 30 mins up here with 09:30 starts. Need to be leaving home about 08:20 though to get there in time having been up to have a bite to eat and a drink.

There had been talk Edinburgh/cramond might go ahead on NYD this year but that didn’t come to fruition which is a shame as I would definitely have gone there

Run Directing tomorrow at Fell Foot - been watching the Inbox all week half expecting somebody on the roster to mail in with a report of a positive test. Seems our VC is doing exactly the same - which allows me to relax a bit.
