Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Strathclyde and Perth have them on the first Saturday of the month. Strathclyde have a pretty full set from maybe 18-35, though based on last visit not sure how much people use them and tbh I'm also not sure how good a job they were doing.

Falkirk have only had them maybe four times, no major enthusiasm for them, it seems.

One of my favourite volunteering roles, both at local parkruns and touring. Where there is a regular pattern - would it be worth capturing in the sidebar here? Happy to help with that if needed, as where I can I shuffle around some of our tourist trips to tie in with some pacing

Final Saturday of the month at Cleethorpes. It's a bit ad-hoc as to which paces are available.

Mile End has recently started experimenting with having pacers on the second Saturday of the month.
Paces will be based on who volunteers - typically in the range 18-40.

Falkirk are having pacers on the last Saturday of each month this year, ranging from 20-40 minutes. They specified in their FB post that they are looking for runners who know the course: a course where part is named Heartbreak Hill is not one for even pacing!

Although unfortunately January missed out, the course being sprinkled with trees post-storm. Not sure they'll all be cleared by Saturday coming.

And there's no event on the last Saturday in February either (date of the national xc in the park, I think.).

Got something to say?

I know, it's a run not a race, but pacing events at parkrun can be great, I often run as a pace...
