Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Don't think I will bother tuning in next week but it passed 15 minutes of our journey.

Interesting. Or maybe not ;-) My bet is that nearly all of them will make it over the line.

It's looking decidedly dodgy as to whether we'll be able to go ahead this weekend - current flooding in the park is, I'd say, the worst since 2007. (Though nowhere near as bad as then, thank goodness.)

Just cancelled Stratford-upon-Avon - the river level is bonkers (over part of the course and still rising). Even if it receded by Sat the amount of mud and cr@p on the course would still mean it was unsafe.

Walked round Prudhoe Riverside parkrun with tailwalker today. Slip-slidey on fallen leaves and surface mud. Much enjoyed the scenery by the Tyne and the bacon buttie afterwards in a well appointed café.

Am I right in thinking HQ will not replace stopwatches or scanners any more? Our last stopwatch will no longer connect to the laptop and we are down to one scanner.

Apparently we only used phones for scanning today but I'm still a bit nervous about only phones for timing
