Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

parkrun PB for me at Aberdeen today, almost 2 years to the day since the last one and knocking 1min 7sec off that time, thanks to my daughter, @SusiSue28 doing an excellent job pacing me.
I'm rather pleased with that! I had that chocolate cake earlier but am currently celebrating in a way that more reflects my Fetch name. Slàinte Mhath ;)

I went to Alness, one of the friendliest events around, and took friends doing their 1st, 2nd and 21st events.

Baz's navigational issues remind me of the Alness inaugural where today's still super speedy first finisher went the wrong way at the 2 mile mark (on the back section of an out and back), taking 2nd with him. In a distant 3rd I went the correct way (I'd done the course approval). 1st place sped past me near the end for a hard earned first finish, I hung on to an undeserved 2nd.

I know that @Snoot had been heavily involved, but couldn't be at the inaugural as he was at Wollaton instead! (Nice to meet you)

Looks like it went well from the feedback with 137 finishers. Bit disappointed I couldn’t be there having proved it worked last year but had a good run 😊
