Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think current pace on the old log = split pace on the new.
And changing sample rate on old = changing split size on new.

Yeah, I don't think current pace on the old log was the instantaneous pace at that point, the x-axis was still effectively split up into chunks determined by the sampling rate I think.

On old chart, just checked my run today and chose a hilly bit at 1.88miles, at 100m sample rate the pace was different from a 50m sample rate at the same distance. Surely it would be the same if instantaneous pace ??

Saying that, the same point, at the same sample rate ( 50m ) on old and new is showing quite different pace figures, so no actual idea what is being shown...... :-)

I've dropped my rating from good to ok. Really not getting on with the initial display of too many splits, that's definitely my biggest bugbear.

Sigh (Simon Clarke)
I've been thinking about the split time table - which is (was) also my biggest bugbear - and have decided to minimise it. For sharing with others, the line graph says enough; when I want to analyse my split times, I'll always go the source data anyway. So I've concluded I don't need the split times here as well.

Just uploaded a ride which had an inadvertent 'lap' at the café stop. (I normally have any form of lapping switched off on bike rides)
The map graph etc are only showing the 1st 'lap' (elevation is showing everything, and the total distance and time are correct )

It's fine where I've uploaded it to Another Place!

I love the split options, it was one of the things I used to use Sporttracks for

it would be nice to have in the initial part where the main data are also reported that of the maximum difference in height, to have a first impact of what if done.

Yes, I'd agree with that. I'd like a better visual representation of the height gained.
