We’re watching Shrinking on Apple, just finished S1. And also Bad Sisters (also Apple). Both good and easy to watch. Have saved E2 of The Last of Us for another day.

We really enjoyed The Residence. We started Video Nasty on iPlayer which I enjoyed more than my OH and will continue watching. We finished Atypical which I highly recommend, especially if you have neurodivergence in your life. Last night we started Gangs of London. Is this one worth sticking with? The reviews are good but I struggled with the gratuitous violence.

We've been through 1000 blows, think it was apple? And this city of ours in iPlayer. We're re watching Bosch on Amazon ahead of the new series. Also, when hungover the absolute rubbish that is 'Arrow' on Amazon |

I'm starting the OG CSI again. Hopefully this time I won't get sidetracked into the glorious silliness that is Horatio Caine and friends.

We've finished the third series of Wheel of Time, it was very good, hopefully it gets renewed for a further season, lots of story still to tell. The final season of Bosch Legacy was also enjoyable We've paused on Yellowjackets for now, will revisit later. The Residence was very good, although I agree with the others that it was drawn out a bit. Just started the first season of Resident Alien, very good so far. |

I thought the first series of WOT was a bit dull, but the second was terrific. Looking forward to watching the third.

I liked the first book, absolutely loved bits of the second but there was a plot device that totally creeped me out and put me off reading any more.

No replies to my question about Gangs of London so I’m assuming no one has watched it or it’s crap!

@CK2 Gangs of London continues with the excessive violence to the detriment of plot. Some good characters and twists, but really just an excuse for bloodshed. The Gentlemen at least had some humour in it. Paradise was okay - quite well put together, not hard to watch, general drama/thriller type thing. Annoyingly, you can't really tell people why it's interesting without a major episode 1 plot spoiler. I want to watch S2 of The Last of Us, but Mr S turned it off after 5 mins as he couldn't remember 'anything' about the previous series and didn't have the patience to see how it develops! |
