Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Last three 5ks have gone 22:49-22:04-21:14. And the 22:49 really did hurt.

8 miles tonight, progressive, averaging 8:30s, so must be starting to recover.

& FR, you said last year you were going to ditch all the long stuff and focus on 5 & 10ks, just before entering a load of marathons and ultras. So I still have confidence that my money is earning a good return :-)

It was beautiful and slightly misty up on Embsay moor last night. I told one of the Keighley old boys how much I love the moors. I'd miss them if I went to live in the Lakes. I've not seem many curlews in Lakeland :-(

Don't think I've seen one ever! Always lots of curlews up on Norwood Edge and I know what you mean about the moors, I was cycling up near Brimham Rocks last night and it was a fantastic panorama, I would miss it too.

Nope. I like the Lakes as somewhere to visit not live. Too far away from London.

I dunno. I seem to spend a lot of my life up there (example: the last three weekends) and always miss it when we go home. Perhaps living there would take the magic away.
