Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Very interested. I will be dependent on suitable trains as I won’t have a car that weekend

I took the train last time. It arrived directly at the NEC and it was a very short walk to the exhibition area. Which day would suit?

Still following the sewing bee? It’s fairly clear who the top three are with the semi final next week. Final likely to be close.

That orange fabric was awful and didn’t make a good dress at all, I’m sure it’s the exact same thing my parents had for curtains in the 70s.

Agreed!

Inspired by the Bee, I made some shorts the other day

More fabric is on its way so I can make more 😃

Sam and I are relieved Damian has gone.

We're reasonably convinced he learnt to sew by making himself a human skin suit.

Ha ha! I’m amazed he survived that long. From the first week when he said ‘I didn’t bother reading the instructions’ and every week it’s the same! He didn’t need to learn how to insert a new zip he just needed to follow the instructions.

I’m not watching at all this year, it’s refreshing!

I could really do with some shorts fraggle! You’ve got me inspired but I’ve got to tidy my craft room first!

I love Bee - all the old series are on iplayer currently, not that I’ve had time to watch any.
I haven’t had time to sew anything either and I’ve several projects that just need finishing and a new coverstitch machine to get to grips with
