Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Thank you all. I think she’ll love it.

For those of you that sew it was remarkably easy.

Measured the picture and surrounding material to work out what size cushion I could make.

Ironed a medium weight interfacing on to ‘stabilise’ the stretchiness of fabric.

Cut a square with 1/2inch seam allowance out of front.

Using the bottom hem of tshirt measured the same width with the length so it would finish half way down back of cushion.

Other back piece I made 3inches longer after swam and hem allowance.

Sewed hem.

Pinned together (right sides together) and sewed round all 4 sides.

Turned it the right way out.

Envelope cushion cover with original tshirt hem visible at back which is a nice feature.

Love the cushion - what a lovely present idea.
I’m working on how to unravel my work if I go wrong. After a mistake at the weekend I got into such a pickle that I had to start all over again - very frustrating

Is this your blanket Nickid? That does sound frustrating ...I imagine you’ve got a large number of stitches on each row?

You do learn from the unravelling...but it’s still crap!
