Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Then I'd just get pace alerts instead! :-)

I use whatever measure is the most appropriate to the exercise - pace for some, HR for others. And it is a range, not a zone, but it still geneates alerts when outside of it.

You can do workouts with no pace or HR specified.

You can. It's called going for a run 😂

But the issue isn't that I don't want them, or don't wan't to be prompted when I'm outside of the range. I do, as that's the whole point of programmed workouts. I just want them on the watch, not in my ears every few seconds over my music.

Fair enough.

Workouts are about the time or distance for me (on road). Or simply having the analysis info later rather than alerts (which is why I sometimes use interval timer on track with just lap press for recovery and starting next rep).

Make the band big enough you don’t go outside it?

Sort of defeats the purpose of having a target range. As above, I'm happy with the ranges. I just don't want it squawking in my ears when I slip outside - a buzz on my wrist is enough to remind me to push harder / ease off to get back into the correct range.

:-) I’ve got the badge now so I don’t really need blog views but it’s interesting to see how many I can get to before the numbers start dropping off.

Anyway, too much info to write here so it’s all in my blog :-)

For once that is something I think I can handle but it’s always good to have it in black and white CW

Can anyone tell me how to recalibrate the altimeter on my Fenix 6 s pro?

It’s been weird for a few days! Says it’s at -31 here at home today! Might have been the 8 flights of stairs at work last night!
