Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Its awsome.
7XSS here. I'm on day 15 with about 14-15 hours of GPS workouts during that time. Still 35% left :)

12% off Garmin at Advance Performance with code APGARMIN12 - takes the Fenix 7xss from £860 to £760 - no idea if that is a good price mind.

Well, the 7s battery died on me eventually. 8 days with general use during the day and powered off from about 10pm to 7am. 3x5k runs and 3x8 hour mountain days....big difference from the 935

to save me spending time working through the menu options, does anyone know of the top of their head how you disables the voice prompts in BT headphones when doing a workout.

Interrupting my music every few seconds to tell me "heart rate low" is really annoying!

On the 6X at least - open the settings menu, scroll down to voice alerts.

Funny - that's exactly what I thought, and it's a 6X, but couldn't see it last night during my run while I was cursing it. Will check again...

its probably easier to change the workout so it isn't using HR as a metric :-) What I found is sometimes its better to specify a range of HR values rather than a HR zone then you don't get the 'HR too low' prompt in recovery when you drop below zone 2.
