Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks Fizz. Not running the same routes but do cover the same ground fairly regularly outside my circle, but from different direction and via different routes, think I’m just a little unlucky at times when I double up on a space. No biggie just noticed it twice today in the last week or so and wondered. Can be obvious when it’s just two flowers planted but one only 1 showing.

Thanks again...

MAG, you can vary where the half mile points lie outside of you circle by varying your route within it. E.g. you can do that by picking up your bug and other objects before leaving the circle rather than on your return. This effectively randomises where the half mile points fall and therefore where you plant flowers.

Just done a 4.73 mile walk with my pooch. Total random route picking up a bug, about 3 miles or so inside the circle. I earned 3 plants, but only one has been gained on the map. The route outside the circle is not heavily planted, there are about 13/14 pants now on that route. I have only gained one new plant from that walk.....again assuming I am unlucky. Ah well....

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but you don’t actually need to do anything other than run right? The game updates automatically?

P.DuB: yes :-)

It doesn't even need to be with a GPS, you can manually plot your route.

Got my last stupid question, have triple checked the guide.

How do you lose points overnight?

Click on that day's column on the activities page and it'll tell you where you lost points, MAG. Usually it's bug penalties. The other way your score can drop overnight is that the score is a 30-day rolling total so if a high scoring day from 30 days ago drops off the total your score will go down.

Velociraptor. Thanks. That’s the bit at the end I was thinking it could be....but it’s not in the guide, well not that I can see. 30 day rolling part I’m talking about....or is it so obvious I can’t see the wood for the trees.

There's the note in the 'About this Thread' box, top right of this page - which you've probably scrolled past without noticing dozens of times ;)

- our points from 30 days ago will drop out of your total before you then do today's activities
