Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

There's a daily update at midday - if there are any bugs within a mile of your home point, you get penalised. If you buy a bug, you can plant it on your rivals doorstep, for example, as you'll collect the penalties.

AB - click them on the map, then click the link in the little popup.

FML - to move a bug away, run to it, then run away from home. It will automatically go to a random furthest point from your home point.

ah I get it - both the penalties and the "moving" thing. So you have to look at the map before you go to do your run. Could play havoc with club routes or races though!

So if I go for a run through / past the bugs I 'carry' them away from my house? And then where do they end up? At the furthest point on my route?

PM - that could be a problem with my code, but there are a couple of other possibilities:

1) your Garmin didn't start recording points straight away (like if you hurried off before it got proper lockinated)
2) If you don't ferry it outside a mile radius, then it won't move the bug.

Jerboa - yes. Look at the big rings on the map - they are 1,2,3 mile radiuses from your home point. You need to get the bugs out of the first ring to get them to move. The bug will be dropped at a random point along your route in the furthest ring you reach.

Ooh, my run just got me 236 credits. And I wasn't even at home :-)
