Many sports are reporting reduced participation since COVID. Now pricing people out at certain events is definitely part of the issue, but not all. We have an orienteering event on flasby fell in a few weeks. Last time we held an event there we got 250 entries (pre COVID) This time, we might be lucky if they're 150. Flasby might not be the most amazing area in the orienteering world, but our dales events do usually attract people.
