Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Also expecting mine to last for many more years. Still may want an upgrade at some point though :)

:)

Must admit we keep looking - but nothing much seems any better than we have without compromising somewhere, unless paying a fortune

We'll be sticking with ours until we no longer want camper van holidays (me - probably never; Geoff says he'll stop driving long distances in 4 years when he's 70)

We had a look at one that was £185K the other day. Very nice but massive. Honestly, even if I could afford it, not sure if I would want it - I can’t imagine driving it down the roads we go down.

That is what Geoff is hoping will happen @cathrobinson. I've never driven it. I'm a bit intimidated by it tbh so just avoid it. That we now have an automatic car but the CV is manual doesn't help me 😆

Some of them are huge aren't they @Big_G. We've seen motorhomes the size of coaches on some sites and wonder how they manage getting into supermarket car parks to get the groceries, let alone little streets in pretty towns and villages in Cornwall and such places.

My mate is a lawyer, he sat his HGV so he could drive his Moho better. Says the bigger the easier 😂

I remember a site in Bath - a nice site with large pitches. One of the vehicles was using two pitches. It was huge, and was one of those that had a small car inside.

@GimmeMedals how about doing one of the driver courses you can with the Caravan and Motorhome club?

As you know I drive ours all over the country and it’s not that bad (especially now I’ve adjusted where I position myself in the lane so I stop losing so many door mirrors ;-) ) and ours is much larger than a campervan.
