My co-pilot is maybe getting less terrified? Hope to have more interesting pics soon... This is just at work, giving it a run out! |

I might have a work meeting on Deeside Industrial Estate on a Friday soon...has anyone parked on any of the roads around the Ind Estate? I'm not sure my van will fit in my customers car park spaces but some of the surrounding roads look like they don't have double yellow lines according to google street map. And if I hung around for the weekend within an hour or so of Deeside, can anyone recommend any good sites and/or interesting run routes? |

Motorhome / caravan owners - is it me? Am I just picking the wrong service stations on the motorway? But I’m forever getting to a service station, following the helpful little symbol that has a caravan on it - usually heading in the same direction as the one for HGVs - only to find that the signs for caravans simply disappear and it’s not clear where to park. I’ve ended up a few times in with the HGVs, which I’m sure annoys them as much as it does me. Same with coaches. How hard can it be to get the signage right for us…??

Agree - most places are awful. I know I can park at Wetherby, but usually plan somewhere else on the way instead - National trust memebership has come in handy few times |

We’ve often ended up in with lorries in motorway services. We are enjoying our Scotland tour. One week done - Strathclyde country park, Stonehaven CMC and now Brora CMC sites. |

Lorry parking area in the norm on motorway services, I'm afraid. (Especially with a caravan - usually a longer outfit!) And they don't waste money on resurfacing etc.. ![]() Cheltenham Services has a nice caravan/motorhome area, though, too! |

We usually end up with the Lorrie’s but have occasionally (by accident) ended up with the coaches.
