Looking at going there in June and after any advice We went to Lake Titisee and camped for a week. Long time ago now (14 years or so). It was very good. Handy for tourist visits to Rheinfall (awesome and amazing) and Lake Constanz plus other local sights and sounds. Lots of cuckoo clocks, as I recall. And cake!
