Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I set a strava segment down Twistleton End, nice one to try after breakfast tomorrow 🙂 It's just up the above the farm. White Scar caves too?

If you want to find the specific line, go up onto the plateau where the limestone pavement sort ends and find the path through it, the descent line is pretty much at the end of it. Seriously, it's properly steep and something that only a daft fellrunner would enjoy ..... if it's wet there is plenty of scope for sliding most of the way down on your backside. Beware rocks.

We've parked up for the night in the car park at Gloucester services. £12 for a small campervan. It's owned by the same folk who own Tebay Services which has always been a favourite. Thought it was a convenient alternative to a campsite when we are looking to break up a long journey.
