Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Don’t know anyone who’s been yet but they spent a fortune doing up Lakes Hotel & Spa in Windermere, quite a few rooms have private jacuzzis on their balconies.

There's a spa at the hotel on the Langdale estate, but it was pricey when we went a few years ago.
There's also a leisure centre if the weather is not conducive to running outside

Thanks - I’ll be happy with a walk in the Grisedale or other popular destination to be honest if conditions don’t allow.

Raptors Claws are coming to town
Up our end there's Lodore Falls on the Borrowdale Road, which has a newish spa and also has a Thai restaurant which some of my former colleagues have been to and rated highly.

There’s the LowWood Bay in Windermere, I was supposed to have a weekend there that got covid cancelled and we never got around to rebooking, so don’t know what it’s like
