Looks like it's the pass between Broughton Mills and Ulpha, with Stickle Pike behind you?

Spot on with the location, though it's taken from the opposite direction - that's Caw in the background 🙂

Just done another count up on our 'scratch off' Wainwright wall chart while planning our next visit and realised (because I hadn't included the Fairfield Horseshoe previously) that we are actually up to (at least) 17. Planning some more later this month so hope to add an update and will probably be asking some questions about places too!

We'll do it again sometime I suspect but maybe not until such a time that we holiday without the dog - and that's hopefully not for a few years yet. We're looking at the Coniston Old Man on our next visit and hopefully one or two others as well.

Three nights in Keswick from Thursday to Sunday. The Saturday was a stunner of a day. On the Thurday evening I did a new 'round' to me. Which was:

Latrigg
Lonscale Pike
Lonscale Fell
Jenkin Hill
Skiddaw Lesser Man
Skiddaw Little Man

Ullock Pike
Longside (Edge)
Carl Side

I was really struggling up Ullock Pike and the descent from Carl Side was not pretty!

That sounds intriguing OTHT, I was running up there the other day myself. I would be enchanted to know how you went from Bakestall to Ullock Pike, did you drop down to Barkbethdale and then Southerndale? Not many visitors to those shy little dales for sure :-)

Presumably the descent you are talking about from Carl Side is the one down to Millbeck?
