Yay!
Mine is doing my exercise in a different order today. Normally I go to the gym then get a coffee, do a few miles of walking and get food in. Today I came home to have coffee and toast after the gym. Now I'm about to do my walk and get shopping. I want to know if I'll feel less tired if I split it.

On my run this morning I saw a Red Kite (the bird) flying over Bushy Park. First time I've seen one in my neck of the woods.

God they are everywhere round here TeeBee. I reckon in 20 years they’ll start culling them! WA: you can buy WiFi boosters for not that much. No newts yesterday, today’s was spotting tiny little violets out on a walk, so sweet

The birds that need culling are those fucking noisy Bright Green Parakeets, I swear they out-compete native species.

I've gotten quite fond of the parakeets that live near here. They do this fantastic fly by the house just before sunset when they are going home to roost. They zoom past in a flash of green squawking away, I look forward to it
Splitting my exercise wasn't a great success. Coming back home just gave me time to stiffen up a bit and get cold. And I feel just as tired now!

My new thing is meeting a possible future relative for dinner. Invited out by eldest’s boyfriend to meet his dad - it’s looking serious!

Ooh Winniefree! Hope it went well
Fleecy- we've tried that but it does tend to throw our regular wifi off. Not sure why. Our signal isn't great at the best of times
New podcast today. Not loving it, will persevere. We also had unexpected guests- a couple of grouse wandering around the garden. We get them quite often later in the year, but not usually this early

My new thing is an oddity. A comment Fetchie Dio made about my athletics performances has made me think entirely differently - ie a trillion times more positively - about myself and my capabilities.
I was in a slightly sad 'Am-just-not-good-enough' mood - and now I'm not.

I have a new audiobook. In fact I have two, because Audible was having a two for one sale. And I downloaded a new album from Spotify because a review in the Sunday Times told me to.
I’ve also registered the dog with ScentWork UK, who run sniffer-dog type competitions, and entered him for a trial in a new level. It’s just occurred to me that I could have taken the opportunity to make up a posh ‘competition’ name for him (like ‘Fucksake Rory Put That Bra Down’ or ‘Ginger Idiot Escapologist’.)
