Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Today I will read the newt book my sister gave me for my birthday. I shall soon have more knowledge about The Autistic Brain.

In fact it will be a bit of a newt to devote a whole day to CPD.

Hello all I've been here in spirit if not in the typed word, becoming an employee rather than a freelance has rather impacted my Fetch hours so I'll need to sum up my best newts of the last few days:
walked through concorde (Bristol Aerospace at a team meeting for my new employers)
attended our first tea dance (and jived, foxtrotted, quickstepped, tangoed, waltzed, cha cha cha'd and rumba'd)
went for an evening run with Teen 2

Hello all fellow Newthingers.

We have just a few days left. In the spirit of this being the anti Lent thread I propose Easter Monday our final NewtDay. This gives us the bank holiday - rather than Easter Day itself - as an extra to jangle more newts if we can.

After that the thread closes for another year so no-one gets bored with it.

There have been some truly pearling newts this year , large and small, life changing and life affirming. Lots of great ones recently. We lost our daily choosing somewhere along the way and I was going to pick someone from yesterday but it's too hard to choose!

The Baroness, Linds and Mulbs all did genuinely new (and possibly scarey) things and >b. has two huge changes well and truly afoot. And that's just four of you.

ANYWAY... let's have a final flourish and get jangling!

:-) tea dance was v sweet and a really positive experience, we started our lessons 10 weeks ago knowing nothing and while our steps are basic we left the tea dance whispering "we can dance!!"

I love this thread, thanks for all of the newts, something to look forward to for next year!

My newt for yesterday was attending the party to celebrate one of our favourite pubs winning the East Suffolk pub of the year award, which they have never won before. OK - it's more their newt than mine but I am happy to jump on their bandwagon!
