Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I don’t think any of us will argue with that choice. Nice work Hann.

Very deserving. It is a most unusual newt and one that had us a bit in awe I feel.

My newt today is going on a road trip in our motorhome for the first time in 5 months. There was a some warranty work to be done and we postponed it last month because of lockdown. The garage assured us this is worthy of essential travel so today we’re having a 40 mile round trip in Moho. How we have missed it.

And knowing a little of Hann’s history, the run is also hugely significant - so, a perfect choice all round :-)

Well done Hann!

Sorry, wasn’t on here that much yesterday, so missed most of the newts. Also forgot to pair my own, which was watching a live stream of a podcast I listen to.

Yet to think of a newt for today

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
