Nope, Princess Popcorn is a gelding, but he’s sort of pink and sort of...precious. He also gets new shoes every six weeks, which is approximately 24 times more frequently then I get new shoes.

Just managed my mother through one of her turns for the first time (big drop in blood pressure after taking her morning pills, suspect nocebo effect). Hoping for a jinglier newt before the end of the day.

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
