Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've not really been able to keep up with the thread as it moves so fast, but it has been lovely to see lots of lovely springy newts. Mine for today was beating my time at a Fetch mile. Now technically it probably doesn't count, because I had no idea it even was a Fetch mile and wasn't trying to break a time on it, I was just out doing my run, but hey ho!

Love the Newt thread, and it’s spin-offs Start Something In September and, er, the other one. Whatever that was called. :-)

How about about a summer restart programme? Pick up something you used to do or love and give it another whirl?

Rebirth for all you’re worth.

Thanks for a fab thread which have gave a great positive spin on life I’ve really loved taking proper note of spring springing and celebrating such simple and lovely firsts this year.

Here’s to a more brighter summer and hopefully post covid life, something none of us will ever forget but hopefully we can also reflect on the good stuff too.

Another fabulous newt thread. It’s been lovely. This is the first thread I look at when I have notifications. What will I do now?

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
