It's been been interesting, engaging and fun and I ask no more - so thank you to absolutely everyone who took part this year. It's right that the thread is finite - like Lent - and that we end it here for this year. Don't want Newt Fatigue, do we? It's not as if there aren't other places to hang out. As I'm sure you all know, there are tons of positive, friendly threads on Fetch all with specific aims and interests in mind. Most of you are on them! I'm off to be one of the select track and field Fetchies, but Mazlin's right I'll probably be back Starting Something in September (if not before). Kisses to all of you. But no badges. Or prizes. Sorry(ish)!

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
