Ooh thanks Hann, I will check them out. We are attempting to make a corner of our tiny garden (around our one tree) look like a natural bit of woodland (without the trees obv! :))

My dad's electricity is off today so he's coming here for a few hours. I've made broccoli and cheese soup and homemade bread for lunch in honour of his visit. We haven't "entertained" since my dad came for Boxing Day, apart from him coming for a cup of coffee a couple of times a week. He is in our support bubble so we are not breaking any rules.

We had a beautiful display of snowdrops at our old house forgot to bring some with us. 12 years later we’ve finally got around to getting some - my in laws have given us some of theirs ready to split and plant.

Oh, perfect for snowdrops. Beware, you will need more than you think. Bunches of say 5 means you get 10 little clumps out 50... Depending on how big your area is and most drops are sold in 25s, I would go for at least 50... 3s 5s and 7s spread naturally around the tree. Now is also the time for wildflower seeds, as we will probably still have the odd frosty night. Seeds need a cold spell to germinate. But you can out the packet in the fridge for a few days too... Get a shady mix.

Thanks, we have our wildflower seed, sounds like we need to put it out:) It’s all very exciting as we have done nothing with it since we moved here over 2 years ago!

I am listening to a CD that I must have bought at least 10 years ago. It was still in its cellophane! It is rather fabulous! Finzi, Cello Concerto.

Virtual QI recording was surprisingly straightforward. I think my neighbours must think I’ve lost it though, as they would have just heard me randomly applauding at intervals all evening.
Just ordered a newt jumper, but that’s a bit rubbish. More of a ‘holding’ newt.

On recommendation of my GP I’ve listened to a newt podcast today. It’s called You Are Not a Frog. Episode 2 brought me to another newt which is Tiny Habits. I’ve signed up for a free 5 day course.
