Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wow! What a day :-)

I want to find a MTB race to enter now :-)

I’ll settle for my newt today being reading a paper magazine (not on my iPad where I often read them these days) instead of doing jobs. I can’t remember the last time I did that...

Lots of inspirational newts - Love it.

Nothing really here today, after yesterday’s long run it was just a walk today over the moon with my week:

40m run
25m walk

18hr training

I think new numbers on all counts!

Some amazing Newts oday, are making it hard to choose!

Moon :-) walks, other walks, runs, race entries, food choices, paddling and yoga have all been amazing. Also Mandymoo with her first 5k in 2 years (whoop whoop!), GM with hitting targets, and Hanneke logging a run for the first time in years and then gardening in running kit!

However the winner for me has to be Kirsty with her seal in the Thames!

Thanks EvilP for the nomination from yesterday, picking has been my Newt today. I'll run past the Highland coos again next week and try to get some more pictures to share!

Now that the voting is over and the worthy winner announced I can add a newt. First time being in the running for MOTM. I was absolutely delighted just to get a nomination.

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
