Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I had to take ozzy to the vets to be trimmed
He found it so embarrassing that I’m allowed to groom him now

Dio has dense floof and gets matted in small clumps which I mainly cut out

I’ve got a new comb which seems to be good but he doesn’t like it! It has 2 levels of teeth.

My neighbour’s wee cat had to have its leg amputated yesterday. A wound that kept getting infected and wouldn’t heal. Hopefully it will cope ok.

I'm sure it will be fine, they adapt surprisingly well. Poor thing, though.

I had a rabbit (ironically called lucky) who had a back leg amputated. He lived to a good age and would chase our cat in the garden!

One of my friends adopted two kittens and one of them had a leg amputated at a pretty early age, she's just as agile as her sister.

One of my friend’s cat had to have his leg amputated after a suspected RTA and he manages fine. Isaac pulls his fur out but Shelby gets matted especially towards the back. I have clippers but he won’t let me near him with them and doesn’t like being groomed.

I sense some male friends of cat-owners getting beard-trimmers for xmas - whether they have beards or not.
