Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

In the books, Melisendre is still at Castle Black so I assume Jon would be bought back from the dead like Beric Dondarrion was by Thoros of Myr. Wonder how it will work out in the tv series as she's gone off with Stanis' army?

We saw someone else this week who can raise the dead.

Just sayin'.

If you've got Greyscale and you've turned to stone a bit does that mean you don't actually burn? #clutchingatstraws

I'm really annoyed about that. And also slightly worried that I'm now going to dream of it.

Actually, 'annoyed' is the wrong word completely. I don't know what the right word is.

I'm worried about the integrity of the story after last night. Who else are they going to kill off who shouldn't be dead?

I've answered my own question there, Meryn Trant, but I'm looking forward to Ayra striking him off her list and he's barely a character at all

Tricky isn't it? It's so far off the books in some respects but TV and books are different beasts. WOuld we still be watching if we'd had an Ironborn Kingsmoot at this point but we were only halfway to the fighting pits and having to wait until next year to see Drogon rescue his mum? Or if Jaime had gone to the Riverlands instead of Dorne to besiege places we don't much care for.

They gave us bonus Bronn.

I'm tying very hard to separate the show fromt he books. I'm not angry at Benioff and Weiss after last night. I'm angry at (show) Stannis.

Around 9:50 last night I suggested to AKG "What this scene needs is a dragon."

If the series had stuck closer to the books then I suspect a lot of the viewers would have cleared off. Literature often has a more committed audience than telly.

If we'd stuck closer to the books the budget that put Drogon on screen would have been spent of the extra cast.
