Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The Dorne stuff was ridiculous. Quite unimpressed by that.

I've realised that it wasn't Laurel and Hardy. It was as Scooby Doo! They were primed and ready to creep down opposite sides of the same hedge then do a big double-take when they reach the end and see each other, leading to a hilarious chase scene round the water gardens.

And they'd have got away with it too if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!😉

Dorne was hopeless. Is a great concern of mine as we get closer to the TV series taking over the story arc. May get to the point where I stop watching and pick back up whenever books are done. This will definitely happen if Cersei doesn't get her come uppance. Am already quite upset at how her and Jamie's storyline differs.

I'm feeling the same matt. I will probably finish watching this series as I think there are only four episodes left but I don't think I'll watch the next series unless at least one book has materialised before then. More because I don't want the series to spoil the books for me than annoyance at the differing storylines.

Last night we ventured into book 6 territory with Tyrion meeting Dany so god knows where a lot of this is going now.

There isn't much from the books that's happening on screen now, is there? :(

Not much that's happening as it happens/will happen in the books, no.

Carp, aren't you worried that with the series being shown and overtaking the books you won't be able to avoid spoilers whether you watch the series or not? I am.

Yes, but by unliking (deliking?) some pages on Facebook and not reading the threads here I hope to minimise that. Biggest challenge will be stopping T1 from casually dropping major spoilers into random conversation. She has done that with several books and a couple of secrets she was supposed to keep from me.
