Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Blowing a gale here and very dusty but I did a gentle 5k to grab my wsw before the bell.

Exciting plans to hit the supermarket later. Oh, the excitement!

Mornage.

Thrilling wallpapering to be done once T1 is lugged out of bed, and computer work reminding myself of respiratory A&P, assessment and PPE procedure later.

I will run today. I did not yesterday.

I was supposed to have been on annual leave this week, was taking the kids to visit my sister in London. However, as no GPs off sick, practice kindly honoured my day off (not that kind - one person less trying to cram untaken a/l in as soon as lockdown lifted, whenever that may be). Won't get any a/l from hospital for a while, so rest of the week will be normal.

Have celebrated my whole day off by doing 2 loads of laundry so far, washing up, cleaning oven, run. Next plan to wash all the woodwork, clean bathrooms, iron. I would rather be on holiday in London.....

Been for a run, partly with Mrs D. She run/walked along the road while I went off on side routes or ahead, and then looped back to check on her. It was her first time in ages.

10M yesterday afternoon and relaxing day today with a bit of Zwifting this evening.

Had a lovely weekend in the sunshine. Lots of pottering about in the garden, family BBQ for the 4 of us and generally everyone in good spirits. Hugely aware of how lucky we are in the current circumstances. Speak regularly to DD1 and SIL. He is on the front line in Nottingham and characteristically dark-humoured and phlegmatic about it.

Zoom meeting planned with 21-month old grandson at 4.30. Short run also planned, but undecided whether before or after the Zoom.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
