Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

In terms of Zwift, I'm fine with it mapping it to a route and counting circles, but for this thread personally I'd like to filter out those virtual rides from my numbers.

SteveC, as far as I know there are no "out of this world" Zwift routes :) There are some interesting anomalies though. For example where you're riding virtually around Central London and those rides map to the "real world" roads, but then you go over Tower Bridge in the game and not long afterwards you're going up Box Hill in Surrey :)

And many Zwifters have done rides in the Solomon Islands and elsewhere in the world, because Zwift have mapped their made up world (Watopia) to different areas around the globe...

The circles now filter based on your chosen category (Run, Bike, Swim, Cross), and will filter out anything subcategorised as bliddy Zwift ;-)

Hi Fetch, just so you're aware, on occasion it seems a Zwift ride comes across as "Virtual" (and not "Zwift"). I *think* it's if I've uploaded it as a GPX file rather than a FIT file, but I could be wrong on that. Not sure if that makes any difference to these numbers.

I ran where I've drawn a red line today - first time this year, so all these circles are from today's run. There seems to be only a degree of correlation between where I ran and where the circles are. It happens all the time. Does anyone actually know how circles are placed compared with where the run actually was? I can't accept GPS error or GPSs would be quite useless for us.

I have a couple of circles I have run through but it just won’t give me them - never mind not the end of the world.

of course it is the same for all of us, so it's fair, but sometimes annoying when I want to build a nice solid block.

I've been hovering at just under 1000 for the year for the past week, but a couple of little diversions out and back along farm roads on my run today got me to 1006. I can relax now :)

1577 up to now so ahead of the curve still. No doubt that’ll change soon with repeat routes?
