P&D W12, d6: 3 mi roasted with 4 strides

After visiting the marathon expo, I had lunch and waited until the warmest time of the day, 18°C, to go for the last portable sauna run. I wore a thermal long sleeve and a wind jacket with my winter tights which prompted a few confused looks in the park. I didn't care, got my warm up lap done and then ran a few strides in the second lap, first about marathon pace and then a bit faster. My HR went up and stayed pretty high but that wasn't surprising given how well bundled up I was. Then I met my friend to go for a cool down walk in the park and we sat in the sun where I kept getting toasted. Good prep, I hope it'll help tomorrow
