njosmith Smashed it! Main target was sub 1.45 with sub 1.40 a remote possibility. Went out at a comfortable pace and was surprised to find after 3 miles I was running at 7.15 pace. Decided just to go for it and see how long I could keep it up, fully expecting to blow up at 8, 9 or ten miles. Basically kept to a fairly steady 7.15 pace for the whole of the race. Last two miles were a bit of a struggle but nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Great race.
