Simons Dad Going to try for another PB!!! Very hot today, but managed to take another 27 seconds off my PB!!!! Plenty of points for those of you who bet on me. More people run this each year, and it's a great experience. A brilliant goody bag, and everyone even got a tray of 12 Muller yoghurts at the end!!!! I think I'll be back again next year. Striderdan struggled a bit after night out on saturday! Also very hot weather and tired from long training runs on friday & saturday. Still not too bad considering. LeekAndy Very hot day for my first race. I started at the back, thinking everyone looked faster and more serious than me, but then found i was overtaking for the whole race. Just enjoyed the first mile, (8 mins) then tryed to slow it down a bit, 'cause i thought i couldn't do 8 minute miles in that heat or for that distance.
