run-forest-run A new event for me, and have not run many 1/2 's, this will be only two weeks after Stratford Marathon, so could be interesting ! Looking forward to this event very much as quite local too. Result - A great run for me, 6 minute pb, 1:38 never thought I could achieve sub 1:40 A great event, lovely scenery all the way round, good support, I LOVED it !!

Jo-bee Great race, apart from falling over at the start and hurting both knees, I felt good most of the way round except after the long hill aound mile 10, struggled a bit after that but was not gonna let it beat me.

kylie_smiley My first half marathon, and I finished way at the back, but I don't care - I DIT IT!!! Felt OK for the first few miles, then slowed rapidly as the weather warmed up. I am not a warm weather runner. Lovely scenery, and marshalls cheering me on helped get me through the tough bits. I was hoping I'd be a bit quicker on race day than predicted, but as it's my first one, it's still a PB ;-) I enjoyed it, and will be entering next year, and I WILL get a quicker time.
