Halvedin3 Tough first 3M, then better rhythm, although steep downhill hill section was slippery and care was needed. Strong finish, although held back a bit for next day.

Lapsed Athlete Getting around in one piece wasn't an option as a fall at three miles left me running the last six with at least two fractured ribs. That said it was a great experience in beautiful countryside and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend regards the weather.

Rigel Lots of mud, loose rock, mud, steep descents and mud so pace not great but very enjoyable. Scenery was beautiful but paths too treacherous underfoot to allow you to appreciate the view. Started slowly as my legs felt pretty leaden and lifeless but after 3 miles I felt lots better and picked up the pace.
